Curate the perspective set
Select leaders based on responsibility, relevance, sector, function and the diversity of operating viewpoints required.

Protect the exchange
Establish attendance, confidentiality, recording, attribution and commercial-follow-up rules before participation.

Capture structured signal
Use moderated questions, pulse inputs, decision exercises and consistent note structures rather than relying on anecdotal impressions.

Validate patterns
Test recurring observations through follow-up interviews, additional executives, council review or targeted research.

Synthesize with limits
Distinguish direct observation, repeated pattern, validated finding and EDC interpretation. State important gaps and contrary views.

Publish or activate appropriately
Share public, member-only, partner or account-specific outputs at the permitted attribution and confidentiality level.
Attribution levels

Evidence labels
- Observation - reported by one contributor or source
- Repeated signal - independently observed more than once
- Validated finding - tested across a defined relevant sample
- EDC interpretation - synthesis or implication developed by EDC
- Open question - material issue requiring more evidence
Limitations
- EDC samples are curated and are not automatically statistically representative.
- Executive perspective may reflect institutional context and individual experience.
- Findings can change as technology, regulation and operating practice evolve.
- Confidentiality may limit disclosure of sample detail.
Partner-funded work
Funding, partner participation and commercial interests are disclosed. EDC retains control of participant protection, research framing, synthesis and publication unless a private client engagement states otherwise. Partner-supported work must not be presented as independent consensus if the method does not support that conclusion.
